What we do

Every week we track overhead, staffing wages, PPO reimbursement, valuations, and consolidation activity across the industry. We turn that into short, direct briefings. No fluff, no vendor talking points, no recycled press releases.

How we source our numbers

Our benchmarks come from primary sources: the ADA Health Policy Institute surveys, BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics, Dental Economics practice surveys, state dental association reports, and anonymized data from the calculators on this site. When we estimate, we say so. When a number is contested, we show the range. If we get something wrong, we correct it in place and note the correction.

Who we are

We publish as a team. The Signal Team is a small group of healthcare operators and analysts who have spent years inside the business side of clinical practices. We write under one byline because the work is collaborative and because we would rather the numbers carry the argument than a personality.
